Gabie lives in Philadelphia. Originally from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, much of their formative years were spent shucking corn and milking cows. As a poet, they are most preoccupied on the poetry of place - how place is constructed, where it exists in time, and how it affects the people who move through it. Also cows.
Their first chapbook, Gritty City, is out now! Find it through Moonstone Press, or use the contact page to get it directly from Gabie (I include stickers and a little note with every order). Gabie has served as a reader for Painted Bride Quarterly, The Apeiron Review, and Hyphen Literary and Arts Magazine, as well as being Bedfellows Magazine's first intern. Currently they are serving as a reader for Tinderbox Poetry. They also founded and organized the Ridge Avenue Writer's Circle from 2017-2020. Find them on Twitter @crabbygabie. |
